Welcome to Water Discovery’s second newsletter, designed to keep you up to date with latest developments.

 Latest developments for The Lesson Planner

  • Folders within the lesson planner for swim schools. This means you can create a filing system where each teacher knows where to find the appropriate lesson at the right time.
  • New songs/activities will be loaded quarterly. This means a constant flow of new songs/activities.

As we work more with the development of this programme and with swim schools, we are learning the huge potential of what we have here. Some schools are really working the site and are very excited by what it can do for them. The planning, storing, and ability to consistently create constantly varied lessons offers good business plus fantastic fun for teacher and child.

At last !! At conferences we’re always saying how much we need to all get together and share information. Our web forum at www.waterdiscovery.org now offers this function. Here we can chat, share and expand our ideas and opinions.

National promotion

I am working with Water Discovery sponsors Huggies and TommeeTippee to pull together a national campaign that will offer 1 free Water Discovery lesson at swim schools which subscribe to the WaterDiscovery Lesson planner. TSponsorship_photos_July_08_019__Small_.jpghe campaign is designed to raise awareness of the need to get young children in the water and the need for a focused, water safety effort specifically for this age group.
The benefit to Water Discovery subscribers is that this campaign will promote your swim school and the lessons you create with the help of the Water Discovery Lesson Planner. Those that ‘cash in’ their free lesson at your school will get to see what a terrific job you do. This campaign is only conceptual at this stage but offers a fantastic marketing opportunity for all of us; I’ll keep you informed of progress.
